Family Education
Meets monthly during the school year to plan youth workshops and parenting programs tailored to today's issues.
Camp/Skill Building
Awards scholarships for skill-building activities to students of elementary age through high school who need financial assistance.
Youth Involvement
Identifies areas where young people can make a positive contribution to their peer group and community by participating in Troy Youth Assistance sponsored events and by mentoring elementary-age youth at the events.
Fundraising
Generate funds through various fundraising activities to support Troy Youth Assistance's programs.
BECOME A MENTOR:
Mentors Plus
Adult volunteers are matched one-to-one with youth who live in Troy and need a mentor. Each volunteer is asked to spend 2-4 hours a week with the youth. Adult applicants are screened and trained prior to placement. Additional support is available from a professional caseworker throughout the match period.
