Troy Youth Assistance provides scholarships to youth who can benefit from a positive learning experience to enhance their self-esteem or develop a specific skill. This could include activities such as sports, music or art lessons, summer school classes, or camps. The scholarships are available to elementary through high school age youth in Troy who demonstrate financial need.
A parent/guardian may download the camp/skill building scholarship application and return the completed form to Troy Youth Assistance via email or mail for review before the activity begins. Note: The Troy School District provides many educational supports and services, such as tutoring, at little to no cost to families. TYA may deny financial requests and redirect applicants to a similar TSD provided support, if available. Please allow 2 weeks for review of applications. |
