Girls Stand Strong

Troy Youth Assistance presents GIRLS STAND STRONG, a 4-week program for girls in grades 4,5,6.  It will focus on teaching important life skills to promote empowerment and combat bullying in a setting which encourages group interaction.  
Virtual Workshop dates: January 24, 31, February 7, 14, 2022, 6-7:30pm via Zoom

Overcoming Frustration and Anger

Troy Youth Assistance presents OVERCOMING FRUSTRATION and ANGER, a 4-week program for boys in grades 4,5,6.  It will focus on teaching positive ways to handle frustration before it turns to anger.  
Workshop dates:  January 24, 31, February 7, 14, 2022, 6-7:30pm at the TSD Service Center

-Understanding different styles of parenting
-Managing difficult behaviors and emotions
-Setting healthy limits for parents and children

Students Coping with Post Covid-19 Challenges

 A 4-session workshop for Middle School Students which will focus on addressing anxiety issues in a group setting which encourages support and interaction:
* Learn to challenge anxious thoughts
* Reduce anxiety through distraction exercises
* Improve the quality of relationships in a pandemic setting

Workshop date:  Thursdays, November 4, 11, 18 & December 2, 2021 from 6-7:30pm at the TSD Service Center.  Parent attends final session.

Yo' Kids-Yoga for Kids!TM


 Yo' Kids-Yoga for KidsTM is a fun and relaxing program.  Participants will learn techniques which promote relaxation and reduce stress to improve personal performance.   Sessions are held at the Troy School District Administration Building Board Room.
